Maps is a new product that has been developed by WeMeReC to highlight prescribing information for Wales . Using information provided by Health Solutions Wales, the maps outline prescribing trends in local health boards. Maps focus on specific areas in which improvements in prescribing are desirable.

We appreciate that the maps illustrate retrospective data for medicines that may have relatively low prescribing rates, and that they may not always highlight local priorities. Our intention is to help facilitate changes that are sought to optimise prescribing practice across Wales .
