This privacy policy is operated by Welsh Medical Resource Centre (“WeMeReC”) an NHS organisation and whose main office is at Academic Centre, Llandough Hospital, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 2XX

This privacy policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by WeMeReC.  For these purposes, WeMeReC is the data controller in respect of any personal data we collect.  

Any changes we make to our privacy policy in future will be posted on this page. 

WeMeReC will not collect any personal information about you unless you have chosen to give it to us. Therefore, this Website is structured so that, except in respect of cookies (see “Cookies”, below), you can visit it without either identifying yourself or revealing any personal information about yourself.

WeMeReC will handle all your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “DPA”).

PROCESSING

WeMeReC will typically collect details provided by you during the course of a transaction with WeMeReC (this may include when you purchase any item from us or sign up to one of our newsletters).  The details we will collect may include your email address or postal address and other relevant personal information including details of payment cards you have used and your purchasing history with us.  We may also collect information relating to your visits to our Website (see “Cookies” below).  We will process this information in order to:

WeMeReC has tried to create a secure and reliable Website for you.  WeMeReC has put in place appropriate organisational and technical safeguards and security measures given the nature of the information processed by us.

The DPA gives you the right to access information held about you.  Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
